Looking for African contemporary art nowadays is a matter of urgent necessity for us. Because, if it’s true that art can teach us how to understand people, their lives, history and expectations more than any academic speculation and any scientific study, it’s also our duty beyond extreme pleasure, to joyfully immerse ourselves into a so crucial scene. A scene of which needs to be understood, in all its forms of expression.
